"Education is acquired not by listening to words but by experiences".
~Dr. Maria Montessori
Keystone Montessori, LLC is an independent, non-denominational private school program located in Murrysville PA that was developed to help fulfill the potential of every child enrolled through the profound educational insights and educational materials of Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1952).
Children of all abilities learning together with wonderful educational materials.
MONTESSORI education is a highly hands-on educational Private School program that incorporates independent and active learning for children of all abilities. Montessori educators "follow the child", adjusting their strategies and timelines to "fit" the development of each child, as all children learn at their own individual pace.
All in a calm, supportive and relaxing environment where the children "choose" their work and build their skills at their own pace.

Q: How are the Montessori lessons taught to the children? A: "It's developed around each child and what they individually need to learn. I do not group all my children together and teach a concept in a large group. Each child will miss an important aspect of what I'm teaching/saying if it's done that way, instead it's on an individual level. At the pre-school age there is no other way to 'teach' them. For me it's all about leaving the cookie cutter at home." ~Montessori teacher at Keystone Montessori School
